On March 30th, the Social Organizations Management Bureau of the Ministry of Civil Affairs released a list of suspected illegal organizations that have not registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs. 22 social organizations have been put on the list, including the “Chinese Naval History Research Association”, the “China Environmental Internet and Big Data Industry Federation” and the “Chinese Children’s Linguistic Arts Performing Exchanges Association”.
According to the Social Organizations’ Management Bureau, when joining a social organization or participating in or collaborating with one, all citizens, enterprises, institutions or other organizations can log in to the China Social Organizations website (the official website of the Social Organizations’ Management Bureau, http://www.chinanpo.gov.cn/index.html ) or follow its official wechat account, “中国社会组织动态”, and click on “我要查询” to check whether the organization has registered to avoid deception.
