The first conference of the Guangzhou Social Organizations’ International Cooperation Association was successfully held in the municipal social organization training base on April 22. Li Rui, director of the Municipal Social Organization Service Exchange Center and deputy secretary of the Guangzhou Social Union Party Committee, Jiao Yang, secretary general of the Guangzhou Council, and another 20 members of the Guangzhou Social Organizations’ International Cooperation Association all attended the meeting. The members of the association’s board of directors and supervisors were elected during the meeting.
After their election Wang Fujun, member of the Party Committee of the Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau and director of the Social Organizations Authority, awarded the association its license. Li Rui respectively issued certificates for the association’s president, vice president, secretary general, director and supervisor. After the meeting, Huang Haoming, the new president of the Guangzhou Association of Social Organizations for International Cooperation, presided over the first meeting of the association’s first board of directors.
