Project Introduction
To address the basic needs of South Sudanese refugees in northern Uganda , CFPA provided cash support to 2500 households for food and other necessary items. The program also formed agricultural groups with households of both local community members and refugees, allowing refugees to access land and farm, which increased their income and contributed to a sustainable livelihood. Meanwhile, the CFPA is devoted to improve the local economic resilience to cope with the negative effects of the refugee influx. By facilitating 300 beneficiaries with their business proposals, the program supported the development of consumer markets and access to employment among refugees and host communities.
