Zhicheng Public Interest Lawyers is the first non-profit organization in China that focuses on social full-time lawyers and specializes in legal aid for migrant workers.
In July 2009, it was registered as a private non-enterprise unit (now known as "social service organization") with the approval of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Civil Affairs, and in July 2011, it was granted special consultative status by the United Nations Economic and Social Council.
As of December 21, 2020, Zhicheng Public Interest Lawers has received a total of 112,778 legal consultation cases, involving more than 300,000 migrant workers, and the amount involved exceeds 600,000,000 yuan.
