Goals
To protect rare and endangered species, particularly the “panda among birds,” the black-necked cranes. We also intend to expand our focus to protect wildlife and promote ecological balance.
Major Projects
May 2011, “Yunnan Pingfeng– Protecting China’s Black-necked Crane, We Are Taking Action,” environmental education and publicity program.
Winter 2011 – Spring 2012, Established the Hong Kong World Nature Foundation (开展世界自然基金会(香港)), which funded the Zhaotong Black-necked Crane and Marsh Ecosystem Environmental Protection Publicity and Education Project and Zhaotong and Qujing Sixian District Black-necked Crane Winter Survival Base.
