Hong Kong Shun Lung Yan Chak Foundation Limited

In 2006, Feng Shui and Calendar scholar Cai Boli met with the Chairman of Cheung Kong Holdings and philanthropist Mr. Li Ka-Shing to talk about charitable work and creating a charity organization. After gaining the support of Mr. Li, Mr. Cai founded and registered the Shun Lung Yan Chak Foundation Limited.

The foundation has four missions:

1. The founding of nonprofit nursing homes, shelters, medical organizations, educating the children of the poor and providing for them life necessities, as well as providing support to the poor in general.
2. The founding of nonprofit schools and education institutions, funding scholarships and bursaries for students in need, providing educational resources, provide funding for activities and improve the quality of education for the poor.
3. Promote religion through research, printing, publishing, and programs.
4. Support other programs that benefit Hong Kong and Mainland society.
