Delta Electronics Foundation was founded in 1990 by Mr. Bruce Cheng, in recognition of the fact that the society had laid a solid groundwork for the growth of Delta Electronics, Inc. The foundation was initially set up to nurture scientific and technological talents through sponsoring academic researches. In response to the rapid growth in carbon emissions and global warming, the foundation has gradually made raising awareness of climate change a priority.
Today the Foundation channels resources into three main areas of work: "Energy and Climate", "Green Building and Transport", and "Green-collar Talent Cultivation". Through researches, courses, events, and media communication, the Foundation endeavors to promote decarbonization measures in the industry, building, and transport sectors. Meanwhile, we continue to establish low-practice practices and work with leading climate organizations to exert ongoing policy influence.
Since 2019, the Foundation has additionally developed marine protection projects that facilitate biodiversity conservation. Our broad expertise positions us to push the adoption of industrial energy efficiency, green building, eco-mobility, and marine conservation around communities.
