The latest Law Blue Book indicates that the legal structure regulating the charity sector requires further delineation and specification. The blue book, published by the Chinese Academy of Social Science Legal Research Center, indicates that the current regulations relating to charity are insufficient to meet the needs of the sector’s development. The report discusses some recent regulations relating to the sector, including Some Provisions Relating to the Standardization of Foundation Behavior, Volunteer Service Recording Methods, Suggestions Regarding the Promotion of the Development of the China Red Cross, Regulations for the Promotion of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone Charity Work, and Municipal-Level Charity Regulations.
