1. Global South Rural Entrepreneurs Initiative-HUB Launched in Jinghong, Yunnan
On August 19, 2025, the Global South Rural Entrepreneurs Initiative-HUB was inaugurated in Manluanzhan Village, Jinghong City, Yunnan Province. Attendees included Li Chang, Vice Mayor of Jinghong City, Professor Li Xiaoyun of China Agricultural University, Xiao Liming, Senior Executive at Tencent, representatives of the YOUNG Rural Entrepreneurs Initiative from Africa, and Chinese rural CEOs. Building on the Rural CEO Training Program and the YOUNG Rural Entrepreneurs Initiative, the HUB will serve as a key platform for innovation in rural revitalization and talent development across the Global South.

2. “Harmony and Coexistence · Global Humanitarian Innovation Dialogue 2025” Convened in Beijing
On August 19, 2025, in commemoration of World Humanitarian Day, the “Harmony and Coexistence · Global Humanitarian Innovation Dialogue 2025” was successfully held in Beijing. The event linked participants across five locations—Beijing, Qingdao, Hong Kong of China, Afghanistan, and Cambodia. Responding to the United Nations’ call to “cease all attacks on humanitarian workers and civilians”, the dialogue sought to build international consensus, strengthen safety commitments and resource coordination, and explore new approaches to the growing global humanitarian crises.
The event was hosted by the Humanitarian Professional Committee of the China NGO Network for International Exchanges, with joint support from institutions including the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA), the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) China Office, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) East Asia Office, China Philanthropist Magazine, Beijing Peaceland Foundation, China NGO Center for Disaster Risk Reduction, and Beijing Yuanmeng Public Welfare Foundation. Academic support was provided by the International Academy of Red Cross & Red Crescent and the Risk Governance Innovation Research Center of Beijing Normal University.

3. Chinese Embassy in Cambodia and Beijing Peaceland Foundation Donate Materials to Khmer–Chinese Friendship Association
On August 21, 2025, the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia and the Beijing Peaceland Foundation jointly donated LED screens, audio equipment, and a mobile medical operating vehicle to the Khmer–Chinese Friendship Association. About 100 people attended the ceremony, including Wang Wenbin, Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia, Ith Sam Heng, President of the Khmer–Chinese Friendship Association; Deputy Prime Minister Chanthol; Minister of State Ly Thuch; and other representatives from China and Cambodia.
President Ith Sam Heng expressed gratitude, noting that the donated equipment will greatly support cultural exchange activities, He also highlighted the importance of the mobile medical operating vehicle—co-donated by the China NGO Network for International Exchanges, Hong Kong Cherish Life Foundation, and Beijing Pinglan Public Welfare Foundation—which will be used to screen children in rural Cambodia for congenital heart disease. Looking ahead, the Beijing Peaceland Foundation will collaborate with Fuwai Hospital and other medical institutions to deliver public welfare medical services in Cambodia’s remote areas, with a special focus on children and low-income families.
