Three overseas NGOs were recently awarded registration credentials and chief representative certificates by the Beijing Public Security Bureau in Beijing, including the SportAccord Asia-Pacific Headquarters (Macau), Oxfam (Hong Kong) and the France Export Céréales. For Oxfam this is the fourth registration in China, after registering representative offices in Guangdong, Gansu and Yunnan earlier this year.
Yan Dongsheng, director of the Overseas NGOs Management Office of the Beijing Public Security Bureau, congratulated the three organizations on the successful registration of their Beijing representative offices. He assured that the public security organs will continue to facilitate ONGOs’ activities, and safeguard their legitimate rights and interests in China. Meanwhile, he also expressed his hope that ONGOs will carry out their activities in strict accordance with the Overseas NGO Management Law, and actively promote China’s public welfare and economic and social development.
The Beijing representative offices of the three ONGOs expressed their gratitude to the Overseas NGOs Management Office of the Beijing Public Security Bureau for its responsible attitude and warm and efficient services, and the professional supervisory units for their support.
Ma Wenguang, chief representative of the SportAccord Asia-Pacific Headquarters (Macau), assured that they will maintain close contact and communication with the registration authorities and professional supervisory units, carry out their activities strictly in accordance with the law, and make their contribution to promote Chinese sports and the health of the people. The chief representative of the France Export Céréales also stated that they will promote exchange and cooperation between China and France in the cultivation and usage of cereals.
