A number of overseas NGOs have recently completed their registrations in different areas of China.
Fourteen overseas NGOs, including the Global Alliance of SMEs (Shanghai) and the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce, were recently awarded registration credentials by the overseas NGO management office of the local PSB in Shanghai. The official from the Shanghai PSB congratulated these ONGOs on their successful registration and assured that the public security organs will continue to facilitate ONGOs’ activities based on the law.
In Beijing, the overseas NGO management office of the local PSB issued registration credentials and chief representative certificates to WildAid, the Lee Shau Kee Foundation, the Chi Wah Foundation Limited and the Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries. The four ONGOs expressed their gratitude for the professional and effective services of the Beijing overseas NGO management office of the local PSB.
Meanwhile, the Tin Ka Ping Foundation’s representative office in Guangzhou was awarded its registration credentials and chief representative certificate by the overseas NGO management office of the local PSB in Guangdong. The chief representative Tian Qingxian thanked the office for their warm services and stated that the foundation will make more contributions to the public welfare.
In Shandong, it was the Trade Promotion Committee of the Netherlands that successfully registered its representative offices in Jinan and Qingdao. The chief representative from the Trade Promotion Committee of the Netherlands thanked the overseas NGO management office for their high-quality services and said that the committee will carry on promoting trade between the Netherlands and China.
Two ONGOs, the SIL International and Peach Foundation, were awarded their registration credentials and chief representative certificate in the overseas NGO management office of Yunnan’s provincial PSB. The two chief representatives from the ONGOs thanked the warm services of the office and stated that their organizations will strengthen communication with the registry office and the supervisory agency and contribute to the charities of Yunnan.
