The curtain fell on a heartening event organized by the Red Dandan Volunteer Center for Blind People and a British property company, Savills. Held on Nov 11 at the Poly International Cinema Beijing, the event brought together visually-disabled individuals from various parts of Beijing for a special movie night.
The attendees, with the assistance of dedicated volunteer teams, watched a film depicting the Korean War, with live narration. The heartfelt narration allowed visually impaired attendees to immerse themselves in the historic battle scenes, evoking a deep emotional response.
The initiative underscores the importance of promoting inclusivity and fostering a sense of community.
