  • We worked with many other NGO’s to secure shark finning bans in the US, EU, Costa Rica and Ecuador etc.
  • We worked with many other NGO’s to secure shark fin bans in California, Hawaii, Washington (State), Oregon, and Toronto etc.
  • Alongside a global network of media sponsors, WildAid communications repeatedly reach up to 1 billion viewers every week

We set up China’s first Wild Resource Conservation Award with China Environmental Protection Foundation. We released a research report on wildlife consumption and public perception in China with China Wildlife Conservation Association (under State Administration of Forestry). We launched China National Aquatic Wildlife Conservation Awareness Month with National Aquatic Wildlife Conservation Association (under Agricultural Ministry). We held Public Service Announcement Creative Competition with Tencent. We launched “Protect Shark and Stop Eating Shark Fin Soup” with China Entrepreneur Club. Apart from that, our PSAs are aired by all kinds of media, including TV, cable, satellite, internet, mobile phone, magazine, billboard, and screens in government building, shopping mall, bank, college cafeteria, hospital, airport, plane, taxi and subway etc.
