Rights Into Action for Youth with Disability

Providing health education, entrepreneurial training, day care, psychological assistance and family support for disabled children, young people and their families. Launching rights advocacy and public education in order to promote disabled people's right to equal participation and integration into society.

Goals

To promote a spirit of independence, create a harmonious and understanding environment for people with disabilities, and help them to participate widely in society.

• September 2008 – September 2009, Smiling and Growing Project (funded by Word Bank and Hefei DPF)
• October 2008 – December 2009, Advocacy for Barrier-free Facilities Construction Project (funded by Canadian International Development Agency Civil Society Program)
