Maitian Education Foundation was founded on June 16, 2005.
In September 2010, it was registered with the Guangdong Provincial Department of Civil Affairs to establish the Guangdong Provincial Maitian Education Foundation.
In October 2018, it was awarded the charitable organization public fundraising qualification certificate issued by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Civil Affairs.
