China Youth Animal Protection Alliance

The China Youth Animal Protection Alliance aims at promoting animal protection ideas in universities and colleges and connecting student societies, animal protection organizations and activists nationally. The organization hopes to upgrade society's perception of animals, galvanize support for animal concern, and improve the relationship between humans and animals.

Goals

• Train talents (students and NGO workers) who are enthusiastic about the cause to have the correct understanding for making a longterm impact
• Educate the public to have a better understanding of animal protection and cultivate their compassion for animals; educate them about actions they can take
• Improve the education system regarding animal protection

Major Projects

• Animal Protection Camp: university students are recruited to join the summer camp to learn about ways to support the cause, and explore new approaches. Until 2019, we have done 6 camps.
• Public Interest Wallpapers Nationwide Tour
• In 2018, we collaborated with Animals Asia and student animal societies to launch the tour of wallpapers presenting public interests in universities and colleges. The project was designed to promote compassion and concerns through images especially for animals.
