China Small Animal Protection Association is a national-level professional social organization that can recruit members, establish local organizations and carry out international cultural exchange activities across the country and abroad.
The association began preparations in November 1988. In September 1992, it was officially established with the approval of the Ministry of Agriculture. In December of the same year, it was registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs.
