Established on July 28, 1981, the China Children and Teenagers' Fund (CCTF) was the first national public-raising foundation to be established in China after the founding of the People's Republic of China (PRC) in 1949. It is under the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF).
Kang Keqing, Chen Muhua, Gu Xiulian, Chen Zhili and Song Xiuyan successively served as its president. Chen Xiurong, former Vice-President and Member of the Secretariat of the ACWF, is its current president. Peng Liyuan is the special envoy for promoting Chinese girls' education under the Spring Bud Project of the CCTF.
