Agora Energy Transition China Interns

Founded in 2021, Agora Energy Transition China develops feasible and science-based proposals to advance the clean energy transition and climate neutrality in China and internationally, with a focus on clean power system transformation, industry decarbonization, and regional energy transition. We are also committed to building the capacity of peer professionals in our research fields and promoting the net-zero transformation of state-owned enterprises in China’s energy sector. Based on the profound expertise of our research team as well as our extensive network of contacts, we advise decision-influencers and facilitate a productive exchange of ideas among key stakeholders.

As a professional energy transition and climate advisory, our name in Chinese stands for learning from the best and bridging Sino-Foreign wisdom. Our mission is to serve the climate and energy sectors, and to promote international cooperation on the clean energy transition and climate change.

To further strengthen our team, especially to support the development of the upcoming Agora China website and research programs, we are seeking to hire two Beijing-based Interns at the earliest possible start date.

为进一步壮大团队力量，支持我们正在建设中的中英双语网站及项目研究，现招聘两名实习生。

Internship oportunities (2 headcounts)

Responsibilities:

• Website management, including upload Chinese and English text and photos to the website, attend website training meetings with the Headquarters, etc..
• Assist in policy analysis, data management and research in our three workstreams(clean power tranformation, reginal transition, and industry decarbonization).
• Support social media (mainly WeChat) content draft and typesetting, and design simple marketing materials such as event posters, nameplates, etc..
• Assist in workshop and event preparation and execution.
• Providing administrative and translation support to the team.
• Other tasks as assigned.

实习岗位 （2人）

岗位职责：

• 网站运营，包括上传中英文文字和照片至网站、参与德国总部沟通培训会议等。
• 协助电力、工业领域政策分析与数据整理；参与能源转型地区国际比较与国别经验分析研究。
• 支持社交媒体（主要是微信）的内容起草和排版、设计简单的活动海报、桌牌等物料。
• 会议活动的筹备和执行。
• 为团队提供行政和翻译支持。
• 其他项目支持。

We offer:

• Minimum daily allowance: 150 yuan/day.
• An opportunity to grow in the public relations, marketing, climate change and energy transition sectors: you will work closely with senior professionals in an international setting, engage in international cooperation platforms and possibly support events in business trips.

We are looking for:

• Minimum educational level: bachelor's degree.
• Preferred majors include but are not limited to communications and marketing, interpretation and translation, energy, power sector and industry decarbonization, public policy and economics.
• Excellent command of Chinese and English (spoken and written).
• Availability to start on February 24, 2025, and to work at least 3 days per week for at least three months.

• 优先考虑的专业包括但不限于：传播与市场营销、口译与笔译、能源、电力与工业去碳化、公共政策与经济学等。
• 精通中英文（口语和写作）。
• 2025年2月24日开始工作，每周至少工作3天，至少工作3个月。
