The unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic has impacted all social sectors immensely, and the nonprofit sector has not been spared. In all this, doing nonprofit projects across borders has become harder than ever. How can we respond to the present challenges? After the pandemic, what adjustments can we make to re-affirm the value of our work? These are the questions that currently confront us all.

China Development Brief sincerely invites you to our conference, in the hope that it can help you gain new insight and experiences so as to effectively respond to the difficulties and challenges posed by the pandemic. The details are as follows:

Conference theme: The Covid-19 pandemic: responses and coping strategies for international NGOs in China and Chinese NGOs “going out”.

Objectives of the conference: Through sharing and exchange, participants will develop a clearer understanding of the responses and coping strategies to the challenges and opportunities which the pandemic has brought international NGOs in China and Chinese NGOs working overseas.

Target audience: 1. Professionals in international NGOs in China; 2. Professionals in domestic NGOs that have worked or will work abroad; 3. Other individuals interested in international developments in the nonprofit sector.
