The World Association of Chinese Doctors was founded in Macao in 2014 as an international academic non-profit organization by Chinese medical staff from 13 countries/regions. The association hopes to create a global community of Chinese doctors and medical organizations, enhance the communication within the community, and contribute to the development of modern medicine for China and for the world. Academic communication, regardless of political and religious preferences, is said to be the fundamental goal of the association.
