We promote the development of Chinese civil society through the establishment of partnerships between national and international NGOs, governmental organizations, scholars, and companies, through addressing societal issues of widespread concern, and through advocacy of good governance and public participation.

Major Projects
Ping Jia and Tao Zhang facilitated the 2006-07 China Global Fund CCM (Country Coordination Mechanism) NGO/CBO representative election, providing HIV/AIDS and public health NGO/CBOs with the opportunity to participate and thereby make the process more democratic.
Ping Jia was invited to observe the 2007 presidential election in Nigeria.
2007 - Present, Helped to set up Heilongjiang NGO AIDS Prevention and Treatment Coalition and Northwest MSM Coordination Mechanism, providing long time sustainable training and coaching
2009 - Present, Helped to set up Henan Women’s PLHIV Coalition, providing long-term sustainable training and coaching
2011, 2012, Our staff was invited to visit New South Wales University in Australia for training and exchange as part of the Tsinghua-New South Wales University joint program on Law and NGOs
March 2011 - Present, Participated in the drafting of a social compensation program for those who contracted HIV through blood transfusions or the use of blood-related products.

2008, Ping Jia was nominated as American Asia Association's 21st Century Young Leader in Asia
2009, Ping Jia was nominated as World Economic Forum (Davos) Young Global Leader
Published a series of research papers and books on public health governance, human rights, GLBT issues, AIDS and anti-discrimination, access to medicine, and women's participation in China. Reports were cited by leading newspapers and academic journals such as New York Times and Science.

We are a non-profit organization based in Beijing, serving as an independent watchdog over the implementation of the Global Fund-financed programs in China. Receiving international recognition, we are the only watchdog NGO on the national level looking into Global Fund programs.
