PEER Yiheng Friends is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting education equity in China's urban and rural areas, improving educational resources in China's underdeveloped areas, and developing liberal arts, humanities and quality education.
PEER was established in 2007. In 2011, it set up a special fund in the Youcheng Entrepreneurs Poverty Alleviation Foundation. In 2015, it was officially registered in the Beijing Civil Affairs Bureau as a private non-enterprise unit "Beijing Yiheng Zhiyou Volunteer Service Promotion Center for College Students".
As of February 2020, PEER has accumulated more than 100 service learning winter and summer programs and special projects in 26 middle and high schools in Hunan, Guizhou, Shaanxi, Gansu, Guangxi, Hubei and Jilin, directly serving about 5,800 students and participating in project volunteers More than 1300 people.
