Connect people in China living with HIV/AIDS and improve their living standards and quality of life.

Goals

To aid AIDS carriers in establishing contacts, to deepen the communication and cooperation between AIDS carriers and community groups, and to promote research and advocacy activities concerning AIDS-related topics, in order to improve the quality of life and living environment for AIDS carriers.

• 2007 - 2008, Establishment of the Association, construction of an Association website, information gathering and sharing, Henan grassroots NGO capacity building and information exchange symposium.

Distinctions

CAP+ is a dispersed network of AIDS NGOs; it is also a national treatment information network. It responds to the needs of AIDS carriers, and it possesses the ability and experience to communicate and cooperate with the government, international and domestic NGOs, and the media. It promotes AIDS prevention and treatment research and advocacy, carries out capacity building and support, and assists AIDS carriers in networking and reaching out to their communities.
