This is a list of the overseas NGOs that have registered representative offices in China since the Overseas NGO Law went into effect in January 2017. We have tried to make the list as comprehensive as possible, and continue to update it regularly. The list was last updated on September 30, 2020. We have included every organization’s place of origin, permitted fields of work, supervisory unit, and place and date of registration. There are a few organizations for which we were unable to ascertain some of the relevant information, so we left some fields blank.
