Yunnan’s Public Security Bureau (PSB) has awarded registration credentials and chief representative certificates to the Yunnan representative offices of eight overseas NGOs on July 27th. In addition to Oxfam (HK), which had already registered in Guangdong an Gansu, other organizations to register include Operation Smile (USA), Bless China International (USA), China California Heart Watch (USA), Morningstar (HK) and the Salvation Army (HK).
After the ceremony, the Overseas Nongovernmental Organization Management Office of the PSB held separate talks with the representatives of Morningstar and Oxfam. The two NGOs thanked the office for its work and support, and reiterated that they would keep a close contact with the management office and conduct their activities strictly in accordance with the Overseas NGO Law.
