1. 2026 China-Russia Sanya Dialogue Held in Hainan
The 2026 China-Russia Sanya Dialogue was held in Hainan March 3 to 4, 2026. More than 40 experts and scholars from China and Russia, representing fields including strategic studies, diplomacy, think tanks, media and business, attended the event.
Participants engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions on four topics related to China-Russia relations and major international issues: “U.S. Foreign Strategy under the Current International Situation,” “China-Russia Partnership under the New Circumstances,” “China-Russia Dialogue within the Eurasian Framework,” and “Prospects for China, Russia and the Global South in 2026”.
Participants reached broad consensus on deepening China-Russia strategic coordination, strengthening practical bilateral cooperation, jointly advancing global governance initiatives, and upholding genuine multilateralism.
It was agreed that under the new circumstances, China and Russia should further consolidate strategic mutual trust, and continue to expand cooperation in trade and economic relations, science and technology, people-to-people and cultural exchanges. Such efforts would inject greater certainty into global peace, stability, and shared prosperity, and contribute China-Russia wisdom and strength to the reform and improvement of global governance.

2. Center for China and Globalization (CCG) Holds Book Launch and Dialogue Events
In March 2026, the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) hosted two book dialogue events.
On March 5, CCG held a dialogue event on Harvey Dzodin’s new book Dreaming Dragons or Meddlesome Mandarins: A Journey Together to Uncover China’s Soul. Drawing on the author’s decades of observations and experience in China, the book presents a multidimensional portrayal of the country. Wang Huiyao, President of CCG, and the author engaged in-depth discussions on topics including cognitive differences between China and the West.
On March 6, CCG and Springer Nature jointly launched the Chinese and English editions of China, New Geopolitics and Global Governance. The book brings together dialogues with 51 leading global figures, focusing on key issues such as global governance and relations among major powers.
Both events featured speeches, panel discussions, and Q&A sessions, attracting participants from a wide range of sectors. They showcased the diverse perspectives represented in the “China and Globalization” book series and provided a platform for international intellectual exchanges.
The events not only enhanced the international community’s understanding of China, but also offered valuable insights into global governance reform and cross-cultural dialogue, highlighting CCG’s important role in bridging Chinese and global perspectives and promoting international cooperation.
