On January 27, the office of the Beijing Municipal Social Construction Work Leadership Group announced that it will utilize the Municipal Social Construction Special Fund to support public service projects in the coming year. A representative explained that the application process will not differ from last year, with the addition of five new types of research-oriented projects which embody the spirit of the 18th Congress Report: urban-rural integration construction, migrant population public services, social system reform, urban management, and modern social system reform. The projected scope will also expand from 300 projects last year to 500 in the coming year.
