Longyou Environment Conservation

To promote environment conservation and sustainable development of rural community in the south of Gansu province of China.

Goals

To promote amity between people, and harmony between man and nature.

Major Projects

• Water-saving Irrigation Demonstration Project in Shanghai Orchard farming (2012).
• Training workshop on how to identify and monitor the specific type of bamboo that the giant panda lives on in the Gansu Giant Panda Nature Reserve (2013).
• 6·20 Flood Disaster Relief in Sanheba of Kang county of Gansu Lonnan (2013).
• Community Reserve Construction Project in Diebu county of the Min mountain area of Gansu (2014).
• The “Yi Le Yuan” Children’s service station in earthquake-stricken area of Min county (2014).

Major Achievements

• The third place prize of GEGC.（2011）
• 4A Social Organization.( Tianshui Municipal Bureau of Civil Affairs 2013)
• Organization with High Level of Revolutionary Consciousness .(The Tianshui Association for Science and Technology 2013)
• The Relief Operation Award (7·22 earthquake relief of Min and Zhang county) (2013)

Distinctions

We are one of the most active NGOs in the south of Gansu province. Most of our members are university teachers who can help solving technical problems. We also work with different organizations both within and outside China, trying to create a diverse and versatile working environment.
