To establish a platform of law services and support for NGOs around the country starting from Shanghai.

Goals

We facilitate NGOs to operate in line with laws and regulations and promote the development of civil society.

Major Projects

• Survey and Research on Legal Needs of Shanghai NGOs ( Sep. 2012 – Sep. 2013) ;
• Legal Training Programs for NGOs (Nov. 2012);
• Law Manual for NGOs in China Project ( Sep. 2013- Mar. 2014);
• Labor Law Handbook for NGOs Project (Mar.2014 – Dec.2014);
• Best Practices of NGOs Internal Governance Project (Agu.2014-Jul. 2015).

Major Achievements

• The Survey and Research Report on Legal Need of NGOs in Shanghai;
• “A Review of Philanthropy Law and Regulation Development in 2012 China” (which is a part of “Annual Report on China’s Civic Philanthropy Development (2012)” published by Social Sciences Academic Press (China) in May 2013);
• Law Manual for NGOs in China, Guidelines on NGO’s Labour Law Practices and Risk Control, and Best Practices of Chinese NGOs Internal Governance.
