China Foundation Center

Establishing an information disclosure platform for foundations, providing the necessary capacity-building services for the development of the industry, promoting the formation of industry self-regulating mechanisms and enhancing public credibility, cultivating a positive, transparent public interest culture.

Major Projects

• July 2010, Formed collectively by 35 foundations
• December 2010, CCTV launched the “Illuminate China, Transmit Love, Understand the Foundations in Your Midst, Support the Foundations You Rely On” activity.
• March 2011, CCTV launched the “Provide a Meal for Students in Western China” program, organizing domestic foundations to participate in a student nutrition lunch program.
• July 2011, “Transparent Public Welfare, Great and Harmonious Society-- China Foundation Thirtieth Anniversary and Foundation Center First Anniversary Conference”
• August – September 2011, The China Foundation Center became a Yunnan provincial-level foundation and a Beijing city-level foundation
• 2011, We collaborated with Foundation Centers in the US and Europe
