Introduction

Mission

With “care for all” as our guiding principle, we provide services such as education, daily living, and vocational skills for people with cerebral palsy. For students who are able to enter regular schools, we have integration and education activities, to enable them to participate in social life.

Major Projects

  • 2010 – 2011, Community-based rehabilitation project in collaboration with Handicap International, the Disabled Persons' Federation of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region
  • October 2011 – 2013, “Ocean Paradise Project,” Southern China care and assistance project for children with cerebral palsy, in collaboration with the One Foundation
  • 2002 – Present, Cerebral Palsy Rehabilitation Project

Major Achievements

  • July 2007, Established the first national cerebral palsy rehabilitation institution learning network
  • November 2007, Held the fifth national Rehabilitation and Special Education Seminar
  • 2008, Founder Ms. Fang Wang was chosen to hold the Olympic Torch
  • September 2008, During the Beijing Paralympics, Ms. Fang Wang was honored with the UN “Outstanding Contribution in the Service of the Disabled” Award
  • 2009, Participated in the One Foundation's National Charity Institutions “Model Projects,” named number 15 out of more than 700 civil society institutions
  • April 2010, Our Cerebral Palsy Rehabilitation and Education Project was named “Top Ten Outstanding Chinese Public Interest Project” in the “Happy China-- Model Public Interest Project Selection Activity”
  • April 2012, “Most Caring Charity” in the 7th China Charity Awards

Distinctions

Not only do we provide simple recovery training; we also provide cultural courses. The children's center has contacts with elementary schools, providing integration opportunities for children. Our youth center provides psychological training and vocational skill training.
